Dcx belongs to the family of air flow turbo classifiers, also called centrifugal classifiers. These classifiers achieve very high efficiency at a low specific energy consumption. It is a robust design of EGEAY.
DCX Air flow turbo classifiers can be fed with gravity or main air. For separations below 20μm to achieve optimum distribution of the feed product, product is air fed from below. Where coarser separations are required, it is possible to add feed from the top of the classifier and this configuration helps to reduce energy consumption due to reduced pressure drop.
Air flow turbo classifiers can be coated with ceramic. The body can be ceramic coated to prevent abrasive materials from damaging the machine body.
